Level - Junior reporting to the Digital Design Manager
Contract - Fixed Term (1 year), full time (36 h/week)What your impact will be:
  • Working collaboratively with other designers, developers, and copywriters to reach email campaign objectives. You will also collaborate with marketing, media and sales to develop projects for internal and external clients, from concept to execution.
  • Design regular, seasonal, promotional, and automated emails as necessary. You will also organize and coordinate all digital resources and assets required for email marketing campaigns.
  • Design eye-catching email layouts that lead to higher levels of engagement and increased click-through rates, as well as sales growth where possible.
  • Research up-to-date and emerging technologies and developments in the design field and implement them when appropriate.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring a consistent email experience in webmail as well as other email applications such as Google Gmail and Microsoft Outlook.
QualificationsRequirements:
  • 1+ year experience working as a digital designer with a solid background in email marketing
  • Experience with responsive HTML/CSS coding of email for various promotional, life-cycle, and transactional campaigns using the latest HTML and CSS email oriented best practices – with a focus on code reusability.
  • Experience designing responsive mobile, tablet, desktop, and web client emails.
  • Problem-solver mindset, heavy attention to detail and flawless execution on all assigned tasks
  • Ability to understand and maintain brand identities and their nuances across campaigns.
  • Capacity to understand how the design translates into an effective email campaign.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize own workload, and work independently when required.
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices (e.g. CAN-SPAM rules)
  • Fluent English level, both written and speaking.
Software Knowledge:
  • A strong proficiency with HTML5 and CSS
  • A strong proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required, all others are a plus).
  • Experience with email template management platform is a plus (e.g. Taxi for email)
  • Experience with Liquid is a plus.
  • Experience with Sketch or Figma is a plus.
