What a day in the dams team might look like:

• Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins and service basins
• Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring data
• Safety Reviews with multidisciplinary teams to deliver all aspects.
• Client liaison and management of multiple projects from small to large scale
• Superintendence and Contract Administration.

Location : Komagane-shi, Nagano-ken, Japan
Working day: Monday-FridayAverage Teaching hours: 5 hours/day (8:45-15:50)
50 min class * from 3 to 6 classes a day
*Work other than teaching: Preparation, Writing reports, Participating in events and meetings, etc.Student number : 2 to 6Remuneration: roughly 810,000 ( 270,000 yen per month paid in May, June, July)Transportation expenses to and from Komagane in Japan will be reimbursed
