Clearly, the Clinical Trial Manager will also work in accordance with applicable health authority regulations and internal standard operating procedures. You will be able to work to key metrics and motivate a regionally-based study team throughout the project lifecycle. Your experience in the set-up and management of third-party vendors, as well as global study start up, will be self-evident. Familiarity with Phase I-IV studies would be highly advantageous. Demonstrable knowledge of effective project planning, strong financial acumen, along with the flexibility to manage a virtual team will ensure success within this position.
- BS degree or equivalent required, preferably in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, and Pharmacy).
- Previous experience of working with multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiology/metabolism, infectious disease, immunology and/or vaccines is preferred.
- 6 - 8 years clinical trial management/trial oversight experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO.
- Proven track record in successfully managing various aspects of trials from Start-Up to Database Lock and Trial Closure (End to End study experience).
- Experience and ability in coordinating global or regional teams in a virtual environment. Proven ability to foster team productivity and cohesiveness.
- Experience and ability in coordinating global teams in a virtual environment for a minimum of 3 years.

Job description: Overview:A kind and travel-loving family of three in West Vancouver, BC (Canada) is seeking a full-time live-out nanny to join their family beginning in June to take over after their doula leaves. The nanny will care for one infant who will be 4-months-old when the position begins. This fun and worldly family is looking for a very special person to join their family long-term and be a part of their child's life in a meaningful way. The schedule for this role will be flexible but will generally be 5 days per week of full coverage, guaranteeing 50 hours per week. The schedule will likely change as the baby gets older and becomes more set. Responsibilities:
- Full infant care: Providing a warm and loving environment, care and engagement of the baby including enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth both in and out of the home, coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
- Eventual transportation to activities, play dates, and outings
- Preparing, washing, and sanitizing bottles and other baby items, helping with the child’s laundry, and with light meal preparation and cooking
- Nursery duties including: managing the tidiness and organization of the child's spaces, restocking baby items, packing and unpacking for trips, and child-related laundry (there is a deep cleaning team twice a week)
- Active, attentive and experienced when it comes to child development, knowing ages and stages, and best practices
- Recent training with more modern approaches and must be okay with sleep training
- A collaborative approach to childcare: able to balance between taking initiative and helping new parents with relevant guidance while also deferring to parents and taking direction
- Worldly view: excited about new cultures, music, and travel. A foodie at heart who will encourage the child’s palate as well
- Social and happy to be on the go, this family has a great group of friends with children and enjoy hosting so coordinating play dates and being comfortable with that kind of social lifestyle will be key
- The parents are active and involved, so you must know when to fade in and out of the background while staying busy
- A sense of humor and “big kid at heart” mentality will fit well in this family
- Bilingual in French or Spanish would be nice to have but not required
- Canadian citizen, permanent residence, or valid long-term visa, i.e. not in need of sponsorship and legally able to work in Canada; this family is open to someone relocating from another province as long as they can do so in time and without assistance
- CPR and first aid certification or willing to certify
- Willing and excited to travel with the family: approximately 2 months in Australia over Christmas/New Year, 3-4 weeks in Europe over the summer, and then shorter trips to Whistler and California
- Must love cats and not have a cat allergy
- Confident swimmer and comfortable supervising children in the water (ocean and pools)
- The ideal candidate will be outdoorsy and active and happy to spend time outside in nature with the child exploring during all four seasons
- Willing to receive vaccinations including those needed for travel
