• Analyze client specific risk exposure and detail coverage requirements for High-Net-Worth clients.
• Deliver continuous excellence in servicing an existing portfolio of clients
• Establish contacts and cultivate relationships within the underwriting community to achieve the best terms and coverage for Aon clients
• Gain and maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of available Aon resources and solutions, and match those to client requirements.

New Business

• Prepare and present marketing proposals for prospective new business
• Collaborate with Aon group, commercial and health & benefits colleagues to develop marketing initiatives for new prospective private clients within their existing clients
• Act as the visible face of Aon to clients and prospective clients in the community.
• Develop and maintain external centres of influence for lead generation and continuous pipeline

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Registration or the ability to be registered with APEGA (EIT/P. Eng).

• Willing and able to travel up to 25% (domestically & internationally).
• Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment (including harnesses with a total maximum weight capacity of 300lbs). Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
• Prior C&SU experience is preferred.

After Return to Operations (RTO), you must be willing to travel to support long term maintenance at both sites.After the Project reaches Return to Operations (RTO), this role will transition to the LP7/LP8 Analyzer DAS supporting both facilities and will be resized to reflect organizational needs. Timing and details will be documented with a letter of understanding at the time of offer acceptance. • Lead the development of Analyzer Commissioning and Start-up Procedures & Binder.
• Support Maint. reps. for Spare Part Interchangeability Record (SPIR) review for Analyzer MST and setup stocking quantity aligning with ERS and site requirement.
• Review of Analyzer Equipment Protection Plan and participate in field audit throughout construction phase.
• Develop the Predictive & Preventative Maintenance Program (PPM) for Analyzer equipment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyperson Certificate or Red Seal Designation in Instrumentation.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (i.e. apprenticeships, journeyman, maintenance, manufacturing or related)
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% (domestically & internationally).
• Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment (including harnesses with a total maximum weight capacity of 300lbs). Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
• Prior C&SU experience is preferred.
• A background in Solution PE Technology is preferred.

What You'll Do

• Year-end update of plan records, including the reconciliation of the membership, contributions and trust fund;
• Completing government filings with pension regulators;
• Calculate benefit entitlements and prepare option packages on retirement, termination, death and marriage breakdown;
• Participating in internal seminars regarding current industry issues and technical training; and
• Working with a variety of Excel-based actuarial tools.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;
• Thorough and good organizational skills;
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word; and
• Previous work experience or actuarial co-op experience in a consulting/insurance environment is an asset.

Education:

• Students should be enrolled in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration; and

• Providing on the job coaching to Experienced Associates and New Associates, delegating work, performing quality review of the work performed by Experienced Associates and New Associates and consolidating the results and reporting back to Managers and Senior Managers.
• Consult with our clients on operational controls and process improvement
• Carrying out the audit work in an optimal fashion in compliance with deadlines and budgetary requirements outlined in the planning phase
• Documenting clear and concise audit evidence obtained during the execution of the audit and validate their relevance and quality of information
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships internally with PwC teams and external clients
• Actively monitoring external trends in relevant areas of IT, that could include but are not limited to remote access features, authentication mechanisms, threat/risk evaluations, intrusion tests and vulnerability evaluation, cloud computing, while also acquiring knowledge on these topics.
• Participating in the development of timelines and budgets

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

• CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CIA, CGAP, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Hands on experience conducting IT Audit and risk assessments
• Experience to document processes and controls, develop and execute testing programs, assess control design and operating effectiveness, and to provide recommendations for improvements
• Ability to effectively manage full cycle risk assessments from planning, execution, and report-writing stages and all other aspects of the internal audit life cycle
• Proven success in reviewing business process controls, reviewing IT internal controls and risk, enterprise risk, and SOC reporting
• Considerable experience with ITGC, cybersecurity, SOX, SOC and ISO 27001 engagements
• Foundational understanding of ERP environments and controls
• Confident in establishing priorities monitoring project delivery and resolving problems
• Ability to carry out multiple tasks in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
• Exposure to data analytics and visualization tools

The salary range* for this position is $83,000 - $95,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region.
