• Previous experience of working with multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiology/metabolism, infectious disease, immunology and/or vaccines is preferred.
• 6 - 8 years clinical trial management/trial oversight experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO.
• Proven track record in successfully managing various aspects of trials from Start-Up to Database Lock and Trial Closure (End to End study experience).

• Assess and evaluate complex risks, while analyzing requests for new business quotes, renewals and endorsements.
• Determines appropriate pricing based on financial and competitive analysis and thoroughly document thought process of risk assessment
• Complete underwriting referrals as required
• Negotiates and binds terms, conditions and premium for new and renewal accounts within individual assigned portfolio and authority level
• Review and analysis of claims and policy wordings
• Develops and maintains broker relationships
• Effectively manages multiple transactions, leveraging system functionalities to appropriately systems and document processing of transactions and file management
• Create an environment within the team that encourages inclusion and openness to ensure the plan is delivered
• Participates in self-development activities to improve or develop knowledge of underwriting or business-related subjects
• Performing other related duties as assigned

• Commercial Insurance knowledge with at least seven years of Commercial Lines (P&C) underwriting experience
• College Diploma/University degree or equivalent experience
• CIP designation or designation in progress
• Level 1 or 2 General Agent / RIBO license or willing to obtain in 6 months
• Strong analytical, mathematical, decision making and negotiating skills
• Independent thinker and self-starter
• Excellent communication
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient computer skills in: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Committed team player
• Experience working in an MGA, or with referral-based underwriting is an asset
• Written, and business French language is an asset

Key Responsibilities:The Intern employee in Finance at Johnson & Johnson could work in a variety of functional areas and roles across the Finance organization including but not limited to the following:

• Maintaining master list of product codes, pricing, manufacturing cost and partnering with Marketing and contracts organization to assess tenders (RFPs), business opportunities and financial viability.
• Manage corporate card requests, perform periodic audits, analyzing and reporting on spending insights, billing discrepancies and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly reporting, analysis of budget vs. actual results, including identification of risks and offsets vs. budget for Supply Chain Finance team in compliance with J&J Worldwide policies.
• Ensure proper financial accounting for sales, marketing and functional department related expenses, including completion of account reconciliations. Ensure adherence to SOX controls.
• Educate business partners on key finance areas as needed (such as Purchase Orders, cost elements to use, brand Profit & Loss statements, etc).

QualificationsEducation:

• You are a student in good standing, and in process of achieving or recently completed a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the Canada., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Experience and Skills:Required:

• Demonstrate leadership skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Possess strong Microsoft computer and Excel skills including financial modeling; SAP experience a huge plus.
