Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Veterinarians, Vet Nurses, Store Managers, and wholesalers.
  • Providing expert advice and training to customers, ensuring they fully understand and can effectively communicate the benefits of our products.
  • Utilising customer insights and data to tailor your approach and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Presenting and promoting products through corporate sales presentations, customer visits, and industry events.
  • Handling customer inquiries professionally, including pricing queries, compliance issues, and product complaint investigations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams across sales, marketing, and technical services to support customer needs and business success.
  • Maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge to remain competitive and provide informed recommendations to customers.

What You Must HaveTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A tertiary degree in business or science (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within sales or account management.
  • The ability to build and nurture strong relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using digital tools such as an iPad.
  • High level of resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, ensuring timely responses to customer needs.
