Always.We are St Vincent’s Health Australia, Australia’s largest not-for-profit provider of health and aged care services.Founded by The Sisters of Charity in 1857, our +30,000 healthcare superheroes operate public and private hospitals, residential aged care, community and virtual care, and outreach programs.About the roleClinical Expertise: Perform routine and specialized haematology tests, including haemostasis and transfusion medicine procedures, ensuring accurate results for patient care.Lab Operations: Operate and maintain state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and troubleshooting issues when necessary.Data Management: Record and analyze test results, managing laboratory information systems for accurate and timely reporting.Collaboration: Work closely with senior laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals, contributing to team goals and supporting clinical decision-making.Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of laboratory performance and personal growth.About youQualifications: Diploma of Health Science (Pathology Techniques) or equivalent.Experience: Recent hands-on experience in Haematology, Haemostasis, or Transfusion Medicine. Morphology experience will be an added advantage.Technical Skills: Proficient in using lab information systems, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data management.Team & Independent Work: Strong ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting, adapting to various work dynamics.Communication & Professional Growth: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
