Job description: Sound Content ManagerDepartment: Sound ContentEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: SingaporeDescriptionAs Sound Content Manager, you will deliver content from global artists to our community of music creators.You will work with the BandLab Sound Content team to deliver sample packs by world-renowned and emerging artists to our community of creators; you will also have a hand in assisting in managing our various sound products, such as our Virtual Instruments, Sampler Kit library, and Looper packs.Key Responsibilities
- Own the sound content release pipeline from artist delivery to end-release
- Ensure our music library is both visually and sonically well represented in-app across all of our products including: BandLab Sounds, BandLab Studio, SongStarter, and more
- Curate collections of culturally relevant Sound Content; provide insight into the commissioning direction of the Sounds offered on our platform
- Contribute to a cross-functional product team to both improve user experience and optimize the Sound Content release pipeline
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseYou appreciate feedback from your peers and our community of creators; you also know how to provide feedback in a way that is encouraging and constructive. You love to learn and embrace failure.You have:
- Bachelors in music production or an applicable degree, or 2 years of experience in audio production, technology, or a relevant field
- A strong background in music production
- Proficient in BandLab, Ableton or any digital audio workstation
- Working understanding of everyday music theory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in learning about technology
