Take charge of daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with Japanese standards (J-GAAP), and contribute to process improvements. You’ll also mentor junior staff and play a key role in financial reporting and analysis.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payment processes.
Ensure compliance with J-GAAP and tax regulations.
Handle month-end and year-end closings.
Provide financial analysis and management reports.
Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Mentor junior staff and enhance processes and systems.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
5+ years of accounting experience in a multinational company in Japan.
Strong knowledge of J-GAAP and tax laws.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Detail-oriented, with strong communication and time management skills.
