  • Position is located in Wollongong however applicants who reside is NSW, VIC or QLD will be considered
  • Job share and flexible work arrangements will be considered. Work hours and days are negotiable.
  • The role will involve regular travel across states to facilitate the groups

About the PositionThe School of Psychology is a major teaching and research unit within the Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (ASSH). This position is based within the Meaningful Outcomes, an NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence that is focused on bringing together leading experts across Australia and internationally to improve the quality of alcohol and other drug treatment.We have multiple part time positions available for high performing Research Clinicians who will work in collaboration with researchers, partner organisations and other key stakeholders to conduct face-to-face clinical assessments and deliver group-based clinical interventions with participants involved in an alcohol and other drug intervention study. As our study sites are located in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, successful applicants could potentially be based in any of those states.A key responsibility for this role will be to deliver a group-based psychosocial intervention with people enrolled in a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) randomised controlled trial (RCT) focused on reducing loneliness for people accessing alcohol and other drug treatment across Australia.The Research Clinician will travel to alcohol and other drug treatment services (residential and outpatient) on a regular basis and conducting research activities (e.g. recruiting participants, assessments, delivering the group programs) onsite at these services.How to ApplyApplicants are requested to submit a CV and cover letter.
