We believe that together, as one team, we will make a positive and lasting difference for the WA community.Job DescriptionThe OpportunitySalary: $91,386 – $105,095 p.a + SuperannuationWe are currently seeking a Procurement Business Partner on a full-time employment basis. The role will consist of providing support to RWWA to deliver cost effective, compliant and sustainably sourced procurement solutions.You will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service to key business units.
- Conduct meetings with key stakeholders at all levels of assigned business units.
- Conduct Procurement & Contract Management Activities in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks.
- Assist business units with scoping activities in order to drive specified outcomes for the business.
- Assist business units develop Requests for Quote / Tender and Expressions of Interest programs.
- Assist business units in sourcing necessary goods and or services.
- Assist business units with purchasing related tasks from either Government Common Use Agreements (CUA’s), Standing Offer of Agreements (SOA) and Panel Contracts – or the private sector where required.
- Conduct market research to locate, evaluate and engage suitable suppliers or contractors on behalf of RWWA.
- Conduct various RFX programs when required in accordance with RWWA policies and procedures.
- Keep internal Contract Management & Document Control Systems up to date along with RWWA’s tender portal on Tenders WA.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Work with Team Leader and Manager to ensure procurement activities are delivered in a timely manner.
- Undertake tasks as directed by Team Leader and Manager as required.
- Act ethically and professionally at all times.
QualificationsAbout YouIdeally to be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Procurement, Contract Management, or relevant area (desirable but not mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Legal, Governance or ICT field (Desirable but not mandatory)
- Understanding of procurement processes, policies, systems.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office suite and CMS.
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a team or by oneself.
- Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse problems and provide strategies and advice to solve issues
