  • Level B: $117,436 – $135,623 (pro-rata) + 17% Superannuation

The medical curriculum covers a diversity of content, encompassing biological and social sciences, clinical medicine, law, ethics, research and critical analysis, and personal and professional development. This provides a variety of opportunities for involvement in curriculum delivery for academic staff working alone and in interdisciplinary teams. The Doctor of Medicine (MD) program is delivered primarily on campuses located in Wollongong, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands, as well as in numerous rural sites throughout NSW.About the roleWe are seeking a PhD qualified medical scientist, to contribute to the development and delivery of teaching and learning experiences, and assessments for students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In this role you will assist students to develop their knowledge and application of knowledge of structural, histological and functional anatomy. In this teaching-focused position you will be responsible for contributing to the revision and delivery of MD program materials, learning activities, and assessments, in order to foster student learning in the medical sciences.About youYou will have completed a PhD in anatomy or histology or a related medical science field such as physiology, with proven experience as a lecturer, small group facilitator and anatomy lab instructor in a university or medical school setting. In addition, you will be capable of delivering practicals in respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, and musculoskeletal anatomy. Familiarity with cadaveric preservation and dissection is highly regarded.How to applyApplicants are requested to submit a CV and cover letter.
