Job title: Backend Engineer Intern, Engineering Infra – AZPE (Summer 2025)

- Design and develop Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform, including automation, configuration, recommendation, data correction, AIOps etc.
- Evolve Shopee Cloud Native infrastructures and empower businesses via Cloud Native technology stacks
- Work closely with Site Reliability Engineers, Machine Reliability Engineers and other engineers to continuously improve the development, delivery efficiency and quality of applications via Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform.
- Improve Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform’s availability, stability, security and extensibility to ensure the smooth running of Shopee Cloud Native DevOps Platform
- Develop and implement automation, engineering, and BigData solutions to detect and fix potential problems via test-driven development, chaos engineering and regular fire drills, and react quickly to incidents to reduce unnecessary manual operations and improve response time
Requirements :
- Final-year or Penultimate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or any related fields
- Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems
- In-depth understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, software architecture, etc)
- Strong and hands-on experience with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python, C++, Java, AnsiSQL
- Strong logical thinking ability
- Full-time interns preferred (6 months)
- Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
