Join us in an environment where hard work is balanced with fun.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleSalary: $130,000 – $145,000 + Super per annumWe are seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Manager to lead and deliver the provision of Work Health & Safety (WHS) functions across the organisation, with a strong focus on risk identification and management, legislative compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing.In this integral role, you will:
- Drive WHS Excellence: Spearhead the delivery of Work Health & Safety functions, focusing on risk management, legislative compliance, and nurturing a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Promote Wellness: Lead the creation and implementation of workplace wellness programs, champion mental health initiatives, and foster a supportive environment for all team members.
- Enhance WHS Systems: Develop, implement, and continuously improve WHS systems, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with WHS standards and legislation.
- Cultivate a Safety Culture: Support clubs in building a robust safety culture through regular inspections and continuous improvement advice.
QualificationsAbout You
- Tertiary qualification in WHS, or equivalent significant experience.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in injury management and return to work processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills.
- Ability to proactively engage and positively influence teams on safety matters.
