Job description: We are currently working with the preferred solution provider of technical engineering services and project management solutions for the Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, and Storage and terminals industries. They need Hydraulic/Mechanical Field Technicians.Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic press systems and mechanical components.
- Install, troubleshoot, and program controls, including Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Perform maintenance and service tasks on hydraulic systems from manufacturers such as Oil Gear, Parker, and Rexroth.
- Provide accurate job quotes, factoring in parts, labor, and service needs.
- Collaborate with clients to assess needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct site visits nationwide to perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Hands-on expertise with hydraulic systems.
- Experience with quoting jobs, including estimating parts and labor.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.
- Must live near a major airport and be willing to travel up to 75% within the United States.
Company car, company credit card; they put you up in decent hotels.Travel through the USA 75%. You could be gone 6-10 weekends a year. New installs will find you working 10 days through but probably not Sundays, because plants are usually closed, but you will stay in the area until the work is done.The salary is $85-105k DOEMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested.
